Mini Crossword is an interactive puzzle builder for creating quick crossword puzzles. You select a square in the grid, and the program instantly displays all words from the built-in dictionary that fit that position. The algorithm analyzes already placed letters and suggests only words that correctly intersect with existing ones. Click a square again to switch the input direction between Across and Down. An intelligent assistant mode is also available, automatically filling empty spaces with suitable words.

Step 1: Choose your puzzle grid size. Start with an empty playing field. A compact 5×5 grid is ideal for quick puzzles, the 7×7 format works well for medium crosswords, and the classic 15×15 size is perfect for full-length puzzles.

Step 2: Click squares and select from suggested words. Click any square in the grid-a list of words that fit the selected position will appear in the tab on the right. Simply choose the word you like.

Step 3: Switch input direction by clicking again. Click a square again to switch the input direction between Across and Down. The program instantly updates the list of available words for the new direction, considering all intersections.

Step 4: Use the intelligent assistant when needed. Enable assistant mode for quick intelligent word auto-fill. The assistant automatically analyzes empty positions and fills them with suitable words while ensuring all intersections are correct.

Step 5: Add clues and download your crossword. After placing all words, add interesting clues for each word. You can download your finished crossword puzzle in PDF, HTML, DOCX, ODT, JPG, or PNG formats.
